- 🇰🇿 For Kazakhstani travelers
Why Singapore is a perfect short getaway for Kazakhstanis
From Almaty, Astana, and Shymkent, Singapore is one of the smoothest long-weekend and week-long destinations in Asia. Here is why so many Kazakhstani travelers choose it for tourism.
Escape the Kazakh winter. Singapore is 28 °C all year.
From November through March, much of Kazakhstan sits below freezing. Singapore stays a consistent 26 to 31 °C every month of the year. It is the easiest winter reset for Kazakhstani travelers, no ski gear, no layered packing, just summer clothes and Marina Bay sunsets.
Direct 7.5-hour flight from Almaty
Safe, English-speaking, halal-friendly
City, beach, and theme parks in one trip
Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions from Kazakh travelers applying for a Singapore visa.
Eligibility and basics
Do Kazakhstan citizens need a visa to enter Singapore?
Yes. Kazakhstan is on Singapore's Assessment Level II list, which means all Kazakh passport holders must obtain a visa before travel. For tourism or business, the fastest route is the online eVisa.
Is the Singapore eVisa the same as the SG Arrival Card?
No. They are two separate documents. The eVisa is your legal permission to travel to Singapore (issued by ICA, valid 63 days). The SG Arrival Card is an electronic health and immigration declaration that must be submitted within 3 days before arrival. Kazakh travelers need both, and our service can handle both for you together so nothing is missed.
Can I transit through Singapore without a visa as a Kazakh citizen?
If you stay inside the airport transit lounge without clearing immigration, no visa is required. If you need to leave the airport or switch terminals that require immigration clearance, you need either a full eVisa or the 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility (if you also hold a valid visa or long-term pass for specific third countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, Germany, Australia, New Zealand or Switzerland).
Do Kazakh children need their own Singapore visa?
Yes. Every traveler including infants and minors must have their own passport and their own eVisa application.
What is a Letter of Introduction (LOI) and do I need one?
Kazakh nationals fall under Singapore's Assessment Level II, which requires a local sponsor to submit the application. As an authorized visa agent we act as your sponsor and issue the LOI on your behalf, so you do not need to find one in Singapore.
Processing, pricing and payment
How long does Singapore visa processing take for Kazakh citizens?
Standard processing is 8 working days. Premium processing is 5 working days. Both times exclude the day of submission and Singapore public holidays. We recommend applying at least 3 weeks before travel.
How much does a Singapore eVisa cost from Kazakhstan?
Standard starts at USD 80 (single), 90 (double), 95 (multiple). Premium starts at USD 130 (single), 140 (double), 145 (multiple). All prices include the ICA government fee and our service fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and selected bank transfers. Payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways. We never store your card details.
Is the visa fee refundable if my application is rejected?
No. Per ICA policy, the government portion of the fee is non-refundable regardless of outcome. Our document pre-check service flags issues before submission to minimize rejection risk.
Validity, stay and re-entry
How long is the Singapore eVisa valid?
The visa is valid for 63 days from the date of issue. You must enter Singapore within this window. Upon arrival, you are typically granted a stay of up to 29 days at the ICA officer's discretion.
Should I choose single, double or multiple entry?
Single entry is for one trip only. Double entry is ideal if you plan a side trip to Malaysia, Indonesia or Thailand and want to return to Singapore. Multiple entry is best for business travelers making several trips inside the 63-day window.
Can I extend my Singapore visa while in the country?
Short extensions can be requested through the ICA e-Service before your current visit pass expires. Approval is at ICA's discretion. For longer stays you need to exit Singapore and re-apply.
Documents, photos and common rejections
What makes a compliant passport photo for Singapore visa?
Taken within the last 3 months, 35mm by 45mm, plain white background, full face visible, neutral expression, no headgear (religious headwear permitted only if facial features remain visible), no glasses with glare, high resolution and no filters.
My Kazakhstan passport expires in 5 months. Can I still apply?
No. Singapore requires at least 6 months of passport validity beyond your arrival date. Renew your passport first and then apply.
Why do applications for Singapore visa get rejected?
The most common reasons for Kazakh applicants are incomplete documents, photos that fail ICA standards, insufficient proof of return ticket or hotel, previous immigration violations and mismatched details between passport and application. Our pre-submission review catches most of these.
Airport arrival and after approval
Is the Singapore visa stamped in my passport?
No. The eVisa is a digital PDF delivered by email. You can print it or show it on your phone at Changi Airport. No passport sticker is required.
What do I show at Changi Airport on arrival?
Present your passport, your printed or digital eVisa, your SG Arrival Card confirmation, and supporting documents (onward ticket, hotel booking). Immigration may ask short questions about your stay and funds.
Can I work or study in Singapore with this eVisa?
No. The Singapore eVisa is strictly for short term tourism and business visits such as meetings or conferences. Employment requires a separate work pass. Study over 30 days requires a Student Pass.
